The mission of XRBR – Brazilian Association of Extended Reality
Is to strengthen the XR industry in Brazil by sharing knowledge and opportunities with companies and industry experts. Created in 2017 as a business hub, and formalized in 2018 as a non-profit, XRBR is an environment for collaboration about interactivity technologies including virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, holograms, NFTs, blockchain, metaverse, and more. The core values are technical knowledge (know-how), relationship with stakeholders, pioneering spirit, vision of the future, excellence, while valuing the human and the digital.
Individuals or companies with proven experience with products or services related to extended reality can join the association, as well as researchers, professors and students on topics related to extended reality in Brazil and worldwide. The association works by facilitating networking among associates, disseminating knowledge about the sector, prospecting new business opportunities, representing the sector with public and private institutions, participating in national and international events and creating partnerships to offer benefits to associates, like the ones below:
